Perhaps the most important and repeated of events in Venzone is in fact the Pumpkin Feast.
This feast involves Medieval guilds as well as arts & craft associations and includes
demonstrations, shows, musical events, storytellers, jugglers, fire eaters and acrobats.
The Pumpkin Contest: prizes for the biggest and heaviest, the best decorated and carved pumpkin,
including a section for children. The revelry continues well into the night using only
traditional torches and flares to light up the Medieval town of Venzone. In 1991 the European
Community declared this town: The Perfect Village, where its wonderful to live.
